Under the home learning model, the College has been able to maintain its Pastoral Care practices with students meeting with their Tutor each day and being involved in all sorts of fun activities as well as personal catch ups when necessary. In times of isolation some students need extra support with their mental health so it’s good to know that our Psychology services have increased to two days a week from this term. High school students can self-refer or parents can reach out via their child’s tutor or through Sarah Edwards herself.
This term it’s Darcy’s turn for fundraising but in the current climate their activities will be a little different. We have been invited to join the Hunter Water “Water World Shower Challenge”. It involves students recording their shower time in an effort to reduce water wastage. More details will follow and I’m sure students will be eager to participate to see which House will win the challenge while fundraising in a different way.
